Pearl Acrylic
Pearl acrylic carries a swirled, marble-like pattern with pearlescent highlights suspended in the sheet. The pattern shifts with the light and the viewing angle, so no two cut pieces look quite identical.
The pattern is the point
Because the swirl runs through the sheet rather than sitting on top of it, part placement matters. Nesting your cuts across different areas of the sheet gives every piece its own movement — an advantage for statement earrings and pendants, and something to watch for when you need a matched pair.
Cutting
Most CO2 machines at 40W and up cut 1/8" (3mm) pearl in a single pass, and the cut edge shows the swirl running through the material.
Specs
Cast acrylic (PMMA), 1/8" (3mm), 12" × 19", glossy finish. UV- and weather-resistant.
